Exercises to Improve Your Singing


Learn some quick exercises to improve your singing. It  does not take a million different things to make your singing voice shine. There are a just a few things that can make all the difference when you decide to sing. Below you will find two different vocal exercises  to improve singing.

Mamapalooza 2009 - 14

First, start off by  going “ahhhh”.Then say the following while having your chest  out and back straight. Just  say “No….Nu…. Ni… Ne”

(It should  sound like No -new-Knee-Nay)

You should be going up an octave (i.e. pitch or level) each time. Do this  about 5 to 8 times before moving on to the next one. This is suppose to help  with relaxing your  tongue and jaw for  singing.

Then try, “A…. E…A…O” (It should sound like  ahhh-e-ahhh–ooo)

Do this  5 to 8 times as well. Make sure to relax your jaw!

Just doing these two alone before a performance will get you  ready to  perform at your optimal peak.  At the end of the day it’s all about exercises  to improve your singing. These will allow you to  build more confidence when you perform because you will be more comfortable.
